I have been teaching saxophone and singing for over 10 years. I work with students to help them discover their own sound and often introduce them to jazz repertoire and improvisation. I am a Qualified Teacher and have delivered Teacher Training Programmes to musicians

I play with a variety of bands: sometimes as a lead singer / saxophonist; sometimes as part of the horn section and/or backing vocalist. More recently, I have also been involved in musical theatre productions as a musical director or actor.

I continue to write and arrange music for myself and some of the bands I play with.
The creative process fascinates me: some songs are finished within a day; others take a little longer. Sharing ideas with other writers is especially constructive and I help some students with songwriting projects.
